Jaccoud Syndrome Symptom
Repeated attacks of a rheumatic fever like illness causing heart valve damage, and pain free joint inflammation in the hands and feet resulting in joint damage and distortion but no swelling and normal joint movement.
Investigation
No diagnostic tests available. All tests for rheumatic fever are negative. Echocardiograms show heart damage and X-rays show joint damage.
