Familial (passes from one generation to the next) condition that causes the part of the brain (hypothalamus) that controls hormone production to malfunction.

Poorly developed genitals in a boy, loss of sense of smell, long arms and legs, male but with female body shape.
Investigation
Blood levels of testosterone very low.
Kallmann Syndrome Treatment
Male hormone replacement therapy.
Prognosis of Kallmann Syndrome
No cure, but good control usually possible.
